The Logitech G29/G920 is considered one of the best entry level sim racing wheels. Here’s my in depth unboxing, setup and first impressions video! In terms of price (after launch) and features it’s hard to beat. The wheel is a great option for console players on Playstation 4 or Xbox One playing Gran Turismo or Forza, or a PC player playing iRacing, F1 2019, Assetto Corsa Competizione or Project Cars. The G920 will also be compatible with the next-gen Xbox Series X when it launches (No word on the PS5 yet). Since making this video the wheel has worked with every game and sim I’ve tried on PC. Project Cars 2, Assetto Corsa, F1 2020.
There are a few wheels from Thrustmaster in the same price point so I’ve outlined some of those towards the end of the video as well. I recently picked up a used Logitech G29 to try out and document my experience with some mods as well. More to come on that.
